Marketing Strategies Panel:

Tuesday, October 17, 2006

Philadelphia convention Center

Philadelphia, PA

Marketing your products and services is a key component of increasing your organization’s visibility, profitability, and sustainability.

But what is the best method for your particular group in attracting new business or new coalitions?  Is there a unique set of communications skills that ethnic communities can employ to attract media attention, dedicated employees, and prospective clients?  Come hear top marketing and public relations professionals in the Asian Pacific and Hispanic communities discuss strategies to improve your ability to attract the kind of attention your organization needs to grow and prosper.  This workshop is ideal for new business owners who have the product or service to market, but seek the most innovative strategies to advance their goals.

Featured field experts on panel include Hector H. Lopez, President & CEO of Cimientos & Structure Strategy Group a firm specializing in communication in business, education, and public policy.  Hector has distinguished public service in the aforementioned fields.  As Industry Development Advisor and International Trade Liaison for the City of El Paso, he advised and represented the economic development interests of this US border city domestically as well as internationally.  As a Public Policy Assistant for Generations United in Washington DC he contributed to work in intergenerational policy for youth, family, and elders.  As part of the international business faculty at Cathedral High School in El Paso, Texas Hector worked directly with students in education.  In addition to his duties as President and CEO of Cimientos & Structure, Hector has served as the Northeast US Director for the National Hispanic Institute (NHI) since 2004, where he continues to serve in US education work today.
